I am a copywriter and I come up with copy. quickly. Ferocious blooming monsters with sharp teeth aND rainbow tongues that latch onto the brain and do not let go until they are fed love berries.
aura bora’s tagline was “drink WEIRD water”. but then someone created a brand called weird water and said “if you keep using that tag line we’re going to sic our frothing lawyers on you.” they hired me for a brainstorming and writing session and we said:
3. the hudson valley film festival needed an idea for their yearly promo. they had a fantastic animator tapped, and hired me to write the concept. “tell a story, make it fun but not like it’s for kids, hit the expository bits and make sure people know there will be lots of popcorn.”
I have continued writing for HVFF, writing film/filmmaker reviews for their instagram page.

6. i wrote the script for this award-winning short film narrated by sarah snook a.k.a. shiv of hbo’s succession. i was also the creative director, co-directed and acted in it too (*in a deep scary voice* “i will do whatever it takes to get the job done”). Along with Winning ‘Best of Fest’ at the Hudson Valley Film festival, it was an honorable mention by Hollywood New Directors, nominated for Best Short at the Melbourne International short Film Festival, and was awarded a fiscal sponsorship by the redford center.
7. I am very excited to tell you about this. i wrote and illustrated a children’s book called Rum Pum pum! goes ringo starr About a young ringo who won’t stop drumming on things. a publisher has just reached out to ringo’s assistant with a pitch. fingers crossed.
8. Speaking of drummers. in 2014, amid a media parade celebrating the foo fighter’s, i dared to ask: are they any good? the essay went viral and I received death threats. but luckily, a lot more thank you notes, with one coming from the music critic for the l.A. times.
9. tHe Punchdown, the James Beard nominated "Outstanding Wine Program", has hired me to write and illustrate posters for the robust event schedule. Here are a few:
